職位描述 :
1. Purpose (or Mission) of the Job (Role):
Ensure Customer Delight. And to build deep & long lasting relationships with them, which will help to increase our business.
2. Responsibilities:
- Be familiar with the products of the company – Fabrics and accurately quote the sales price based on the profit margins set by the company.
- To reply within 24 hours to customer inquiries, to resolve their issues, and to actively communicate with them.
- Timely and efficient completion of all development and other related work, development cost control.
- To check prices with the more than 1 supplier. Ideally make a price comparison (from 2-3 suppliers).
- To handover correctly to bulk team
- Update product details in ERP
- Prepare collections & send the same to the buyer every season.
- Offer options to buyer (which are cheaper or better or more efficient).
- To add new suppliers where needed.
3. Desired results / outcomes:
1. To be clear on the technical specifications of every new fabric development and ensure the product is created correctly in ERP. To ensure all POs are issued from ERP & the suppliers pay us back the development cost when the orders come in.
2. Handovers to be done within 24 hours of receipt of an order, complete & detailed. To maintain details records (on ERP & physically), so as to ensure that all data, filing & samples are accessible to anyone at anytime.
3. Ensure Customer Delight by
- turning around developments quickly meeting industry & company standards
- At the same time, ensure 75% of developments to be approved in the 1st submit, and balance in the 2nd.
- Replying & updating buyers within 24 hours
4. New sample collection to be prepared and sent to all brands every 6 months.
5. To quote prices as per the margins required by the company, and where we have an issue, to negotiate with buyer & supplier to achieve the same. If still have an issue, take approval from the manager, but do not let the customer go elsewhere.
6. To try & reduce costs by at least 5%, and to continuously evaluate existing suppliers, while at the same time sourcing new suppliers.
Requirements
1. Fabric Technical expertise – minimum 5-year work experience in Fabric development or sourcing.
2. English – Able to understand and respond emails. Can communicate verbally (do not need expertise in verbal English)
3. Education in Textile – preferred but not a prerequisite.
