The Bugaboo story starts 20 years ago when Max Barenbrug,now Bugaboo’s Chief Design Officer, graduated with distinction from the Design Academy in Eindhoven because of his innovative view on personal mobility. Together with business partner Eduard Zanen, an elegant yet revolutionary
new design was made into a multi-functional stroller with iconic looks.

Bugaboo products are now available in over 50 countries worldwide, both at selected retailers and in the Bugaboo.com web shop. In addition, Bugaboo opened its second flagship store in Berlin in 2014, following the first mono-brand store in
Amsterdam’s city centre.
The company employs over 1000 people who work at HQ
in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, one of the offices in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United States,France, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Shanghai, as well as in Bugaboo’s own factory in Xiamen, China.
